Purpose of Role:
Do you love cats? Can you help us raise funds so that we can rescue and re-home the never-ending amount stray cats in Nottingham? If so you'll be part of our wonderful team of dedicated volunteers by helping us to raise money for the rescue by sourcing raffle donations, holding regular raffles online, and in-store fundraising with Pets at Home Arnold.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We require volunteers to create a fundraising team to take the lead in raising much needed funds for our charity. Roles and responsibilities include:
1. Sourcing raffle and tombola prizes (this may include reaching out to small businesses)
2. Collecting and safely storing donations
3. Holding at least one summer raffle and one Christmas raffle per year (this includes posting the raffle on social media and other platforms, allocating ticket numbers, drawing the raffle on the agreed date, arranging collection/delivery of prizes)
4. Holding smaller flash fundraisers throughout the year (creative ideas for these are very welcomed!)
5. In store fundraising at Pets at Home Arnold (our Community Partner store) on the required dates, which includes holding a small tombola and raising awareness of our charity
