Purpose of Role:
Emmanuel House is a long established charity offering help and support to homeless and vulnerable people in Nottingham. This is a very flexible role, offering interesting opportunities to support our Admin and Marketing team.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Main responsibility: Assist with administrative tasks at the support centre.
Tasks might include, but are not exclusive to:
• Answering the telephone
• Using IT to create documents such as posters
• Photo copying
• Data input
• Filing
• Counting cash
• Assisting with marketing and communications
• Opening post
• Taking minutes at internal meetings
• Providing admin support to working groups such as our Health and Safety group, or the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group.
Minimum commitment of one morning or afternoon per week.
• Travel expenses can be reimbursed
• New volunteers receive a full induction and on-the-job training
• Volunteers supported by staff on site
