Purpose of Role:
Assist with the smooth running of Emmanuel House’s fundraising events at the support centre and various locations around Nottingham.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Tasks might include, but are not exclusive to:
• Serving refreshments during events.
• Representing Emmanuel House on a stall.
• Taking donations on a card reader and with cash buckets.
• Talking to event attendees about our service, volunteering etc.
Location: Various locations, but often Emmanuel House Support Centre, 53-61 Goose Gate, Nottingham, NG1 1FE.
Entitlements:
• Travel expenses can be reimbursed
• New volunteers receive a full induction and on-the-job training
• Volunteers are paired up with more experienced volunteers and supported by staff on site

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
You don't need any specific skills for this role, but you must be able to get on well with people from a wide range of backgrounds and with different experiences.
An interest in supporting homeless people would be good.
