Purpose of Role:
This role is for people with the skills and interest in DIY and a commitment to maintenance of a support centre for homeless people.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Are you:
• Competent in DIY
• Have experience of mending things
• Jack of all trades
• Have experience and/or qualifications in painting, decorating, plumbing, woodwork, electrics (within regulations), building
• Understanding and awareness of how to work safely
• Ability to work independently

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Someone who is competent in DIY, preferably with experience and/or qualifications in painting, decorating, plumbing, woodwork, building and engineering.
The person must be:
- Available to volunteer 1 to 2 weekday mornings a week, and be flexible when necessary.
- Have experience of mending things.
- Be a Jack of all trades
- Have an understanding and awareness of how to work safely.
- Ability to understand what work is within their own competency and what may require a tradesperson.
