This is a bi monthly forum where people come together to learn about employability and skills in the context of severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD). It explores ways we can work with people to build on their strengths and interests and empower people through employment and learning opportunities to support their recovery and resettlement. It considers how staff and volunteers can build employability and strength-based working into their roles and organisational policies. This group is for individuals with lived experience of living in supported housing and staff working in supported accommodation settings. It is also open to people working to support people in supported housing to access training and employment, whether in specialist roles or as employers.
